Missions Focused - our worldview calls us as blessed Americans to generously and sacrificially support missions as a part of our commitment to the great commission. Serious Disciples - our emphasis is on self-denial and the Christian disciplines, seeking to please God and not men, consecrating us in devotion to the Lord and cooperating with the Holy Spirit in the process of sanctification. We are committed to holy living.
Passionate Involvement- in ministry and service to each other. We are a church, which lives a shared ministry concept to incredible proportions. Each year, we have scores of our members involved in ministry efforts. Just this past Summer over 100 volunteers helped with our Vacation Bible School, 40 ministered at Royal Family Kids Camp, 15 at John 3:16 VBS, 40 attending camps with our children and youth, and 10 on various missions trips. Add to that the passionate involvement of our body in the weekly teaching duties of all age groups. As well, the special events like Life Chain, Missions Convention, Flower Sale and Spring Fling, Hallelujah Night, and our incredible Christmas Musical Ministry! That is passionate involvement!
Assembly of God - we are proud to be part of the finest missions sending agency in the world. The A/G missions focus is to equip indigenous people of countries around the world to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to their own people. We have Bible schools and training institutes around the world, preparing ministers to win the lost and plant churches. The A/G also has the lowest missions administrative cost of any major denomination! We are proud to be A/G because we embrace a doctrine, which is mainstream, orthodox, evangelical Christianity. We are Pentecostal, which means that we embrace a belief that Christianity is led by the Spirit through the lives of believers, equipping us to do the myriad of ministry tasks with the gifts of power He gives. We are proud to be organized under the cooperative fellowship of the A/G because as a church we have great autonomy, yet within a framework of accountability, and with survivability.
